An east european terrorist

W (Raymond) was our resident Norwegian at the #PHP meet earlier this month, and has some interesting stuff to say on the group of reprobates he met.

I'm pretty sure I don't look like an eastern European terrorist though... Maybe it was the haircut the day before which did it.. :D

#PHP: It's official, we're crap at cooking...

..and gardening, apparently.

<DMZ> at least there's no parsley involved
* the_angry_angel isnt a fan of parsley either
<DMZ> it's the celophane wrapper of herbs
<DMZ> completely pointless and put there to confuse and annoy

<DMZ> got a fair few in the garden, if I ever need mint, rosemary, chives, erm some other ones I can't remember, I'm sorted
<DMZ> except basil. the slugs ate that
<DMZ> in one night flat
<the_angry_angel> at least you can grow stuff like that
<DMZ> huge quantities of nice green basil one day
<DMZ> pointy green sticks the following morning
<the_angry_angel> if I even think about growing plants, things just start dying
<DMZ> oh, I'm crap at gardening too

Just don't ask about the PHP ;) Hopefully this small bit of extremely helpful information will help you in your day.. or not.

Blame PHP

<3 #apache (freenode);

<noirin> PHP should be presumed to be at fault until conclusively proven otherwise. And even thereafter, if it's convenient.

Totally un-useful...

...but I found it quite funny...

<FlashFreak> i know that but i mean what do you use to split
<Shyne|nothere> the ||
<Shyne|nothere> is the delimiter i suggested
<Shyne|nothere> bear in mind if someone types || in their post or title it will mess things up
<Hotwire> not if you check and stop them
<Shyne|nothere> thats why JSON or XML might be better :P
<|Theory> Hotwire: sounds like a recipe for undocumented assumptions :-)
* Shyne|nothere has a lot of recipes
<Hotwire> we chemists love assumptions :)
<|Theory> Assume the cow is a uniform sphere...
<Hotwire> thats not so far off the truth :P
